Do you hear me at a whisper or should I raise my voice?
because I know the world's been screaming
yet you consistently ignore
sending fathers/ sons/ husbands/ and brothers/to lands of constant war
do you understand that all your steps to move forward
have only pushed US back
because without thinking
you simply forgot
that although the US
may start with a U
this country is abreviated as US
US united
US apart
either way you could have led US to rise
yet you decided to let us fall apart
we may be the land of the brave
but with you as our leader
we sure as hell aren't the land of the smart
