peace

Since peace is too hard to conquer
I will conquer it through the ink in my pen
Through the lines in my head
Through the words on my page
I will write peace and it shall be made
The bible says that every word I say shall be
And so now I pray for the world to be in peace
This may sound like a goal that may never exist
But the words from my mouth will overcome and persist
They shall be stead fast and never ending
And how the world was created
My words will only start from the beginning
The ending is now written
Awaiting the day for completion
I look down on my page
With the ink smeared
Bleeding off of my fingertips
I breathe life through my hands
And that life is created through a simple dye
An illusion to our eyes
Just like the world being a safe haven for our soul
Let it be known that heaven is the only mansion
Where my soul shall rest
Where my life will be
Where my soul shall live
eternally
Where my heart is set
Where my LORD anticipates
The reunion of his family
And all of this shall occur
The day peace reigns over you and me
Only on this earth
For the day peace comes
Will be our warning to prepare to leave this earth
