Throw caution to the wind

It has been a bit chaotic the past couple of weeks. Officially relocated for the time being and arrived just as family was coming in from everywhere. Needless to say, there has been no break. Lots of noise and laughter.

One thing that annoys the living hell out of me is when I am watching say, my niece and nephews, when people take it upon themselves to make this infamous comment,

"Oh, well you should be getting plenty of practice in with the kids before yours comes."

Seriously?

In what point in time did you come up with that?

The belief that watching a child for a week would even prepare them for a child. Plus, I have watched many many many children and am capable enough.

Still, I understand it isn't the same as raising your own child but that comment can shove it.

I have an appt with an OB on Tuesday and am currently 20 weeks going on 21.

I feel this little monster rolling around in me non stop now. I truly believe I have some theme park in me.
